I've had some really amazing teaching experiences here. Teaching in French is tough. Especially during the first week when all we could do was bear a simple testimony and say a simple prayer. But improvement happens little by little. I have made a few errors that were kind of embarrassing. I asked our investigator to say our closing prayer on our cake. But everything's progressing slowly but surely. We have committed one of our investigators to baptism. His daughter died a while back and Guillaume prayed for a week with faith and she still died. The next lesson we showed him the Mountains To Climb Mormon Message in French then I shared my testimony of my family and showed him a picture and explained how I was teaching him because I love them and want him to be able to be with his family too. Then someone else shared their experience of their Gpa passing away and after all that he prayed for us. Half the people present were in tears. My companion was named Elder Crapo. He was a solo Elder because he was the only french speaking male to come in when he did. He left 2 days ago which was sad. But he is serving in Barbados now and I'm sure he is doing amazing!!!
